Avengers: Endgame History

Avengers Endgame was released on the 25th of April of 2019. It is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team the Avengers. The film was produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures, it is a direct sequel to The Avengers Infinity War which was released on the 26th of April 2018. It also marked the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Endgame was Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo and was written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. The film is based on the surviving members of the Avengers and their allies that attempt to reverse the damage caused by Thanos which happened in the film Infinity War. The film was announced to the public in October of 2014 but with the title Avengers: Infinity War - Part 2, but marvel later removed this title and renamed it with its current name.

Avengers: Endgame serves as a conclusion to the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe up to this point, ending the roles to several of the main characters, the plot revisits several moments from earlier films, bringing back old characters and settings from the franchises history, as well as some of the music from older films. Filming of Avengers: Endgame Started in August of 2017 at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayette County, Georgia. Which means it was being shot back-to-back with Infinity War, Endgame was finished being filmed in January of 2018. The official title was then released in December of 2018. With an estimated budget of $356million, which made the film one of the most expensive films to have been made.

Avengers: Endgame premiered in Los Angeles on The 22nd April 2019, and was released to the United states on the 26th April 2019. The film received praise for its direction, acting, musical score, action sequences, visual effects, and emotional weight, with critics lauding it's culmination of the 22-film story. The film grossed $2.798billion worldwide, surpassing Infinity War's theatrical run in just 11 days and broke lots of box office records, including becoming the highest- grossing film of all time. The film received many awards and nominations, including the Best Visual Effects at the 92nd Academy Awards, it also received 3 nominations at the 25th Choice Awards and won 2 of the awards, Endgame also was nominated for Special Visual Effects at the 73rd Academy Film Awards.
